I grew baby carrots!
It took 7 months to grow this baby. Started in August and harvested in February.
There's one more still growing in the dirt sack.
I made some veggie soup with it!
The carrots came out yellow after it was cooked!
So cute <3
Things I learned from this gardening experience:
・Only grow plants that are in season, or else most of them will die in the germinating stage.
・Keep them in the shade.
・If you grow your plant in the wrong season, it will take longer to grow.
・If any of the leaves look like it’s dying, pick it off. But don't pick too many at the same time. It will stress out the plant.
・If you want to regrow the carrot you harvested, chop of the top and keep it in water. But don't drown it. Make sure to pour in more water if it dries out and change the water occasionally if it gets dirty.
