Dear February,

 

Some pictures from this month...

These I took while I was jogging to go see the sunset up on the hills.

I was excited thinking they were early cherry blossoms.

Unfortunately they were Ume.

But they were still so beautiful to see under the night sky.

Of course, the camera quality is not so great because of my deteriorating phone.

While I was on my jog I found this beautiful garden pathway!

Cute little cabbage-looking plants. 

It snowed! A bit! It's hard to see but there's a little bit of snow on that parsley!

I noticed you could see it better on our clothes.

Charlie seemed to be really happy.

We ran through our little yard back and forth through the snow.

I also saw that Mt. Fuji had a snowcap on top!

I guess it's a little far to see.

Maybe if I zoom a little closer, you'll be able to see it more clearly.

I also noticed these pretty sakura blossoms on my way home from work!

They're so pretty~!

Some things that happened this month...

On February 26th, on a Saturday, with very very good weather,

I played volleyball and badminton with my dear friends Justin and Poopy (Ben).

It was very enjoyable and I quite liked this type of hangout.

I was very pleased on my way home.

It was sad that I had to leave early though due to work.

I took them to the omurice restaurant "Tamago to Watashi."

I wanted them to experience omurice but they wanted to eat the one with PASTA.

I was like, no no no. 

For the true authentic omurice experience, they must eat the one with the ketchup rice! I told them.

Fortunately, Justin was gentlemen enough to bend for that one so he ordered the one with the ketchup rice.

Although, when they were served their ordered meals, I felt quite bad.

Although it looked nice on the plating when it came,

 when they tried to break the egg omelet open,

It didn't turn out aesthetically pleasing like it usually does in those videos.

I did warn them that I had the same experience when I visited last time with my friend Ludo.

It didn't look as good anymore so I felt bad.

Maybe next time, I will take them to the one in Shibuya which I went to with my close friend Syl. 

That one was quite enjoyable. Very delicious. 

I hope my dear friends Justin and Poopy enjoyed my company that day the way I did.

It was overall a pleasant hangout. 

Cheers to another future meeting. 

Mt. Fuji awaits. 

P.S. I finally and officially acquired my own driving license! It was a tedious process but I was very proud of myself when I saw my number on the people-who-passed board. Now I have to plan some driving trips here and there so I don't forget how to drive!
